Dr Tu'akoi (Holonga, Tongatapu) serves as a Research Fellow in the Pacific Health section within the School of Population Health at Waipapa Taumata Rau. Her current research focuses on collaborating with Pasifika communities, health professionals, and researchers to co-design interventions aimed at preventing rheumatic fever and enhancing the uptake of urate-lowering therapy for gout among Pacific communities in South Auckland.
